Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture published since 2004 by Marine Science Center, University of Basra, which established from 1978 . It is a periodic peer reviewed scientific journal published biannually (ISNN: 1812237X) specialized in Aquaculture, Fisheries and related subjects. The publication serves as a medium for original papers based principally upon the researches done in Marine Science center and other papers dealing with scope of the Iraqi J. Of Aquacult. Short scientific notes and theses abstracts in the field of Aquaculture and Fisheries in Iraq and neighboring countries are also published. High quality papers written in Arabic and English. Emphasis is placed on matters relating to Aquaculture and Fisheries in Iraq in particular and the Middle East in general, though articles are welcomed from anywhere in the world. Manuscripts submitted are read critically and evaluated by at least two well-known scientists in the field. Iraqi Journal of Aquaculture publishes original articles, case reports, and letters to the editor, editorials, and review articles. Papers are accepted, on understanding that the content have not been published in a whole or in part by other journal. Each article is sent to two evaluator of the same specialty. The articles published in the journal are carefully selected and reviewed by a high standard advisory board according to the subjects submitted to the journal.The Bulletin published in two issues per year. Both series are offered in exchange to institutions for their serial publications, and, are widely distributed to principal biological libraries of the world.
